Apply
- Chose your program and download the application materials (Field Study Application, Internship Application, Semester Program Application)
- Meet with your academic advisor to discuss how your program fits in with your degree program
- Email the completed application
- Pay the study abroad fee to insure your spot in the program
- Apply as early as possible, some programs fill the semester before and most require instructor consent to register
- If a field study, register for the required course
- Check your passport, it must be valid for 7 months beyond your date of travel
- If you don’t have a passport, apply for one now, this link has instructions

Before You Go
- Submit to the study abroad office a scan or copy of the face page of your passport
- Visit the a travel nurse, UHS or your own health insurance provider, to discuss vaccinations and medication needed for your trip
- Pay the required study abroad fees when due
- Attend your mandatory orientation session
- Read information about the history, culture, and economy of your host country.
