Apply

  • Chose your program and download the application materials (Field Study ApplicationInternship Application, Semester Program Application)
  • Meet with your academic advisor to discuss how your program fits in with your degree program
  • Email the completed application
  • Pay the study abroad fee to insure your spot in the program
  • Apply as early as possible, some programs fill the semester before and most require instructor consent to register
  • If a field study, register for the required course
  • Check your passport, it must be valid for 7 months beyond your date of travel
  • If you don’t have a passport, apply for one now, this link has instructions

Before You Go

  • Submit to the study abroad office a scan or copy of the face page of your passport
  • Visit the a travel nurse, UHS or your own health insurance provider, to discuss vaccinations and medication needed for your trip
  • Pay the required study abroad fees when due
  • Attend your mandatory orientation session
  • Read information about the history, culture, and economy of your host country.
